Today was by far the worst day I've had in awhile.
...no wait...
This entire week has been horrible for many a reason. Unfortunately it isn't over yet. Random comments are the only things that have kept me going.
Almost having a nervous breakdown and crying in a crowded office and in front of doc is not such a good idea. I do not recommend it.
Somehow we got that stupid science fair project done...somehow. Of course, we made at least two people very angry in the process. |

So Bill and I went with Amanda, Matt, Jarrod, and Justin to Wacky Wednesday at Hungry Howies today after school.
We saw a crazy amount of Rocky people there: teachers, students, and families.
Then we were in traffic for what seemed like an eternity.
Only to get home and see fire trucks in front of our house.
Luckily it was only the bushes across the street and part of a tree.
I think that was one of the scariest moments of my life. |

Jr/Sr Retreat update
hmm where too start
Day one
the arrival
Well as everyone started arriving in milton or wherever we were it got very dark and cloudy and quite scary. So we knew that wasnt good. Amanda Grace and I almost got put in the cabin with the annoying girls..a.k.a. Marie Bender and such, but we narrowly escaped that. So all of us are in this metal building of doom waiting for Coach Sparrow to save us when we learn there is no power. That was a long night. They even rationed our water.
Day two
The ropes course
I got put on a team with Miss Eaves and we were the high fives. Then we got "grey panther" or Bill whatever his name was. The high ropes were ok. Then after "lunch" we went to do the team bonding stuff. Our group did the balancing raft thing without hitting the ground. Then...The Wall.... We did pretty good. William made Richard run his face into a log when he was blindfolded. After all of this we went swimming in the creek. That was probably one of the funnest things we did. The boys had a war, the girls sat on the shore, Tae Ho lost his lens to his glasses, and my group threw rocks at each other. Then at dinner Abi Hoskins almost killed Jarrod with a mountain dew... but he actually escaped it by running. That night we had lots of fun. The girls decided to annoy the boys while they were sleeping and jump up and down alot. Then the bat terrorized some people...Doc killed it then pretended to throw it into our rooms. Roaches waged war on our room...Lizzy tried to warn them but they wouldnt listen. So we killed them with hairspray. Then at 1 o'clock we woke up to muffin yelling and shaving cream EVERYWHERE. Amanda escaped it cause she woke up when they shone the light on her, and Grace only managed to escape it cause Brittany Listak is afraid of her. I didnt even feel like complaining cause I was tired and yelling wouldnt get the shaving cream out of my hair. So after talking and such we went to bed again only to wake up at six in the morning.
Day three
Kayaking
So everyone got their life jackets and paddles and loaded on the the buses which let out alot of diesel fumes. We dragged our kayaks too the water and got in them. Which basically began the day. A little ways down the river Aran and Daniel and Bo I think were waiting to flip everyone which Im pretty sure they accomplished. Then everyone started going back down the river and were rammed into big sticks and trees by Aran and Daniel. So we thought we were safe going around this hue beach but we were soo wrong. Richard and Jacob Barnick came running down the beach and flipped us again. After that Jarrod found a dog in the river and he took it kayaking all the way to the end. Jen and I went up ahead only to be attacked by Aran Daniel Bo and Jarred Bailey at the end of a fork in the river. Aran stole my paddle and pushed me upstream ito a tree. Then a huge spider landed on my boat so when I got back my boat got flipped again and Daniel stole it. So Jen and I start going down the river and stop around the bend and get out and steal their paddles but Jarred saw us and started running so we only had time to throw them in the bushes. That was pretty much all the adventure for that day. We packed up, ate a very good lunch, and got on the buses only to have Marie having an attitude and yelling at everyone. But they stopped and we headed home. |

YAY
Hung out with Amanda and Jarrod. We went swimming...twice....
Went to an awesome pool with two stories. Matt was antisocial. Amanda and Jarrod were hilarious as usual.

...everyone is confused cause Bill doesn't know how to play...
Amanda- its a movie
Me- JAWS!!!!
Then Eric and I played checkers and battleship and made a gigantic pyramid out of legos because I am the lego master
Now I'm helping Eric pick something to wear cause he hates making decisions and we are going to find something today with others...cause we are boring like that
Weeks like this make me all happy inside

Aran got pushed into the bay in a kayak.

BONFIRES = LOVE
We almost burned Billy's house down the first try.
Then at Baker we created this thing.
Billy and Aran decided to jump over the still burning but smaller remains of it.
Which was not the smartest idea.
Billy fell on the edge and now has a twig shaped burn on his arm.
Thanx Evan for pointing it out.
Evan and Eric had a log chopping contest.
We had fun.
